Job description:
Duties:
– Assist plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
– Carry tools and materials to job sites
– Measure, cut, and thread pipes
– Assemble and install plumbing fixtures
– Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing issues
– Perform basic math calculations for pipe measurements
Qualifications:
– Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices
– Familiarity with carpentry and mechanical systems is a plus
– Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Good communication and teamwork abilities
– Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
– Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers
Note: Prior experience as a plumber’s helper or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
