Marketing, Communications & PR Director
Part-Time Salaried Position
The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center (The Center) is seeking a creative, strategic, and mission-driven Marketing, Communications & PR Director to lead the organization’s marketing, communications, branding, public relations, and storytelling efforts.
The Director will help increase public awareness, strengthen community engagement, support fundraising initiatives, promote programs and services, and enhance The Center’s visibility throughout the East End.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead marketing, communications, branding, and public relations efforts.
• Manage media relations, press releases, and community outreach.
• Oversee website, social media, email marketing, and digital communications.
• Create compelling content that highlights The Center’s impact.
• Support fundraising campaigns, special events, and donor engagement.
• Supervise communications staff, consultants, and vendors.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance organizational goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Strong writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience with digital marketing, branding, media relations, and community engagement.
• Nonprofit experience preferred.
Compensation
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
