Lead Foreman / Superintendent

B2K Construction is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Foreman / Superintendent to lead, our in-house trim, carpentry and interior improvements company. This role is responsible for day-to-day operation of the company, including project planning, scheduling, workforce management, production tracking, billing coordination, quality control, tools, vehicles and field execution. The ideal candidate is a working leader who can manage multiple crews and projects, communicate effectively with project teams and clients, and ensure work is completely safely, efficiently, on schedule and to B2K’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily operations and serve as the primary field leader for active work.

-Plan, assign and managed foreman, carpenters, laborers and crews across multiple projects.

-Develop manpower plans, labor schedules, work sequencing and short-term look-ahead schedules.

-Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, ownership, building operations, subcontractors, vendors and clients. -Assist with estimating, proposals, labor projections, material takeoffs and pricing.

-Track labor, materials, production, project costs and schedule performance; identify issues and implement corrective action.

-Coordinate billing support, including completed work, labor hours, materials, change work and backup documentation. -Review timecards and ensure labor is properly allocated to projects and cost codes.

-Manage crew assignments, hiring needs, employee performance, training, productivity and accountability.

-Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, manpower, materials and site conditions.

-Coordinate material procurement, delivers and distribution.

-Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles, including inventory, assignments, security and maintenance.

-Manage punch-list, closeout and warranty work and ensure quality standards are met.

-Maintain clear daily and weekly reporting.

Typical scope: kitchen cabinets and countertops; interior doors, frames, trim, and hardware; closet shelving and light millwork; light interior framing; sheetrock, taping, spackling and insulation; LVT, wood and other flooring installations; punch-list, repair, renovation and general interior improvement work.

Required Qualifications: 10+ years construction experience (preferably in carpentry, interior improvements or general contracting; Proven experience supervising crews and managing multiple projects/deadlines; Strong knowledge of carpentry, interior finishes, construction sequencing, field coordination and quality control; Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and scopes of work; Working knowledge of Procore/construction project-management technology; Valid driver’s license; commercial or multifamily construction experience preferred.
