
Schneps Media is the leading local media company serving New York City, Westchester, Long Island and Philadelphia.
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Media Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day physical and operational needs of our media company. This part-time role is ideal for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable performing a range of tasks—from maintaining archives to handling light deliveries and assisting various departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Archive Management:
Maintain an organized library of past publications; transport and archive older materials; discard expired issues in accordance with company guidelines. -
Workspace Organization:
Keep the publication storage area clean, accessible, and up to date for use by media sales staff. -
Mail Retrieval:
Drive to the post office (30-45 minutes each way) three times per week using personal vehicle to collect company mail. Drive to the post office (10-15 minutes each way) one time per week using personal vehicle to collect company mail. -
Promotional Assembly:
Assemble sample promotional bags (primarily hair care products) seasonally, spending approximately 10–12 hours per week at a designated storage facility. -
General Support:
Assist various departments with miscellaneous tasks as needed, which may include light clerical work, organizing supplies, or helping with event preparation.
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement may apply)

Ability to lift and carry boxes (up to 30 lbs) down stairs and across short distances

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
