Seeking full-time staff for our women’s homeless shelter in Center Moriches; M-F 8am-4pm and 4pm-12am shifts. Part-time and per diem shifts are also available on weekends and throughout the week as we operate 24/7/365.
The Shelter worker is responsible for monitoring the activities of residents of the shelter/center and to ensure compliance with program rules and expectations. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the safety of residents and the security and sanitation of the program.
Experience in a related field is not necessary but is helpful. Starting pay is $19.85 per hour. Paid time off and medical insurance are offered, as well as holiday pay. Must be fingerprinted and cleared through Suffolk County Dept. of Social Services
