SEWING MACHINE TECHNICIAN
MUST have expert industrial machine experience.
MUST have excellent control of the sewing machine for fast-paced high-end factory-style work, and ability to switch to a slower-paced fine couture level of work.
English not mandatory
Full time or part time available immediately
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (or 10am-6pm)
Job is located in The Garment District
MUST have social security number
1 day paid skills test before employment commitment.
Skills test includes – putting in cuff in stretch fabric with fusible layer and notch, putting in invisible zipper into leather sleeve with hems, decorative topstitching sample with different widths of stitching (machine threading and control and speed), inserting elastic into leather cuff.
