CVD Equipment
Corporation, located in Central Islip, NY, has an opportunity for an
Electrical Assembler/Wirer. The
Electrical Assembler wires and assembles electrical and electronic
circuits and systems of parts and sub-assemblies in the manufacture of
Semiconductor, Nanotechnology, and Industrial Deposition Equipment.
What you will do:
- ·
Proactively
adhere to all safety standards and established protocols. - ·
Read
and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders. - ·
Identify
components and wiring information from schematics and perform point to point
wiring. - ·
Fabricate
and install wiring harnesses, ducts, track, and cabling. - ·
Install
Electro-mechanical components to custom main frame assemblies. - ·
Identify
and select appropriate wire gauge in accordance with NFPA 70 NEC. - ·
Perform
cabling, harnessing and PCA manufacturing. - ·
Ensure
product conformance to specification. - ·
Operate
small hand and power tools such as drills, taps, etc.
Education
& Experience
- ·
High
School graduate or equivalent with Vocational/Trade School/Military training in
Electrical Concepts or equivalent experience. - ·
Electrical
Assembler 1-3 years; Senior Electrical Assembler 4-6 years of relevant
electrical assembly and wiring experience.
Required
Skills & Abilities:
- ·
Ability
to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - ·
Skills
required in handling basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as
tape measure, caliper, etc. - ·
Manual
dexterity skills, good hand and eye coordination. - ·
Attention
to detail. - ·
Mechanical
aptitude.
